What is CustomerCradle ?
CustomerCradle is the easy way for businesses to record and report on their customer contacts and enquiries. It allows businesses to collect the facts they need to answer questions such as :
Gut feeling can be good, but the facts are better. It’s a subscription web service with a unique ‘launcher application’ that makes storing information quick and easy. It’s simple to use, an equiry can be recorded in three seconds! If you know a little bit about websites you can think of CustomerCradle as web analytics for brick and mortar businesses.
CustomerCradle makes it easy for the people answering the phones or dealing with walk-in customers to record the source of a customer (how they heard about the business), the action taken (how the business responded to their enquiry) and the outcome (did they become a paying customer).

Who is CustomerCradle for ?
CustomerCradle is being used by accountants, travel agents, health and fitness Clubs, Printing businesses and others. It’s a new service and we are regularly adding features based on feedback from users.
Where did CustomerCradle come from ?
CustomerCradle is developed by Oak Focus Software, a small software startup in Canberra Australia. CustomerCradle came about after Sam Howley, the founder of Oak Focus software, had a discussion with an advertising saleswoman who explained that the vast majority of small businesses she dealt with didn’t record where their customers heard about the business.
These business operators had no way of knowing what marketing strategies were paying off. We created CustomerCradle as a easy way for these businesses to measure their marketing results.
Feedback from users in the fitness industry told us that just recording where customers were coming from wasn’t enough. Businesses also needed to know how well enquiries were being converted into sales. And so the CustomerCradle motto of “Know where your Customers comes from” became “Source. Action. Outcome”.
It became possible to record the source of a customer (how they heard about the business), the action taken (how the business responded to their enquiry) and the outcome (did they become a paying customer).
The CustomerCradle team
Sam Howley started Oak Focus Software in 2009 with the support of his partner Rachael.
In 2010 Ryan joined the team as a CustomerCradle co-founder to help add new features to the service.
Spike and Rea are our official masctos and have been onboard since day one, although we suspect they are mainly in it for the snacks.
